Regional Scope

Unveiling Well Bagomoyo
Overextending has been a major problem for many relief efforts. Reaching too far, beyond a sustainable support network, can cause more issues than are solved. The Tanzania Water Project is purposefully avoiding this major issue by:

  • Partnering with the Anglican Diocese of Dar es Saalam, who provides local oversight, guidance and assistance in our well drilling region outside the city of Dar es Salaam.
  • By focusing our drilling operations to specific regions, and by maintaining a TWP Water Well Memorandum Of Understanding with regional authorities, we have better care and control of our costs and wells.
  • As regional development is built out, maintenance and repair needs of those new wells and pumps will foster the development of new support teams. This will further improve the positive economic impact of the TWP.
